Please note that the forums in this category are to be used to ask questions or to show us pistols from these manufacturers. They can also be used to ask questions about the parts of a particular pistol from one of these manufacturers, as long as the question relates to the original parts.

  • If your pistol malfunctions and you want to ask for help on how to troubleshoot it, post your question in the "Gunsmithing and Refinishing" forum, not in this one.
  • If you want to ask questions about after-market parts, these questions should go in the "Parts - Grips" forum, not in the manufacturers forums.
  • If you want to ask questions about after-market magazines, these questions should go in the "Magazines" forum, not in these forums.
  • If you want to ask questions about holsters, those questions should go in the "Holsters" forum, not in these forums.
  • If you want to ask questions about conversion kits, those questions should go in the "Conversion Kits" forum, not these forums.
  • If you want to ask questions about which ammo to use with your pistol, those questions should be posted in the "Ammo" forum, not these forums.

Messages with questions for after-market parts, magazines, holsters, conversion kits, ammo etc. will be moved to the proper forum and a warning will be issued.

IMPORTANT: In Photo-threads, each post should contain at least one picture of your own. Quoting a previous post, does not make your post compliant with that requirement. Photo threads are NOT for chatting.

Wilson being my favorite brand out of 14 1911's what would you order from them if the options were unlimited. Mine would be a Professional model with a bob tail, full leangth guide rod, in a 40 S&W with all components black including hammer, trigger and guide rod, double dimond grips, green tritium rean sights and yellow frount sight. What do you all think?

I'd be satisfied with one of their baseball caps, but I would really like to have a Professional.

I really want a Compact CQB to go with my full-size CQB. I would order it in all black, and then set it off with some black Alumagrips. That's all I would need. For now, anyway!!

If I were to order a Wilson It would be a classic super grade. I do not however understand why it comes with a Stainless steel frame instead of carbon steel. Perhaps someone could enlighten me.

Hope this pic of one will suffice in the meantime. This one is a Protector (basically the same thing except has a full length guide rod). Had a few of these made up several years ago...so they are out there.

Tactical Super Grade -- all black. Now if I could somehow justify a $3,700.00 pistol...

Ah, make sure you ask them that the front sight base is contoured to match the slide's curvature. I hate that and Wilson used to leave the base of the sight squared. Have a look here:

OK, these are not real Wilson pistols, these are airsoft guns, but the manufacturer has copied them from real Wilson models, and I've seen that on real Wilson pistols too. So be warned.
