I've had good luck with the "match" barrel at Dan Wesson on-line store. www.danwessonfirearms.com (They are made by Jarvis I hear)

dougl93,

I have used a lot of different brand barrels in the 1911 over the years. The best so far has been the KART Easy-Fit barrel. The barrels are very high quality, very accurate, and the manufacturer really understands what is important to properly fit a barrel to a 1911. You will not be sorry buying one of these barrels.

Best regards,

CJR

dougl93,

The KART CM Easy-Fit barrels are carried by Brownells. I should add that the Wilson barrels in 17-4PH stainless steel are also high quality, high strength, accurate, and also carried by Brownells.

Best regards,

CJR
