Please note that the forums in this category are to be used to ask questions or to show us pistols from these manufacturers. They can also be used to ask questions about the parts of a particular pistol from one of these manufacturers, as long as the question relates to the original parts.
Messages with questions for after-market parts, magazines, holsters, conversion kits, ammo etc. will be moved to the proper forum and a warning will be issued. Is it possible to remove the billboard logo?
I would like to remove the billboard from the slide and the "capable of firing with magazine removed" from the frame. Did someone here try to do it and if yes how? I think the gun would look much better witout these markings.
Thanks, D. |

Thanks! Interesting but I would rather keep the brushed SS look...and get rid of the billboard. |

Sand it down some and then wipe it down with scotch brite to give that brushed look you desire. Remember there are 3 grades of scotch brite.
Maroon-medium Brown-fine White-super fine I would use all three types (if you can find it) and then buff it by hand for the desired finish.
