A pair of lovely old sisters...

These two Navy Colts were in the same shipment to the Brooklyn Navy Yard on 5 November, 1912.

beautiful pistols .I have never seen such an amazing finish.
Mine has about 97% original finish but sadly was damaged by an armourer putting it in a vice with no jaw protection.
I must commend you on the images. They are exactly how to do it ...textbook!. What camera and setting did you use
It might be a good idea for someone such as yourself to give a few tips on image taking as I see some really appaling pictures on the forums.
