Customs do not allow any gun parts to the Philippines. There are some oversights but I think you won't take the risk.

I used to buy parts from friends who travel abroad as merchant marines, or Aircrews for passenger airlines particularly in the US. After 9/11 my friend, who is an F/A for Philippine Airlines said that it has become too risky for them to carry recognizable gun parts like triggers or beavertail safeties, but you can still send parts in Balikbayan boxes if someone you know who is returning home is willing to do so.
As for parts sent through the mail, you can still order small parts (springs and pins and sights) without problems. The barrel, slide, frame and ammunition is another story, dont ask a friend to smuggle some for you. In the Philippines, a barrel is considered a "whole gun" and it could cause your friend some legal hassle, same with the frame, as it carries the serial number. You can always misdeclare gun parts sent through mail, but i dont think its really a good idea. Just my 1 peso and 48 cents worth (2 cents). Kerwin

as long as you don't ship the barrel / frame / slide. Everything is alright ;-) customs can't tell.
