I know its not a Springfield, but this seems like a good place for it. This one now belongs to a friend of mine. It's the only real case of sellers remorse I have...

Looks like a dandy UMC. I personally haven't seen too many any better that I thought were original. I let one go at Louisville last show. I've regretted it too. Thanks for sharing.

I was there, but didn't bid on it. Did you buy it? I only bid on one .45...the early 1911 s/n 142, and didn't get it. But a friend got it.

Yes, all all my guns all just held together by rust and I have no photographic skills. So I'll be be content looking at yours and those that others post. Thanks for ther offer. That was very kind of you.
