I have a Safariland 6004 for my TRP Op and I love it. I know many poeple who love them including professionals. I know they make them for non railed 1911s. I can email you a pic if you like.

I have used both the Safariland tac holster and the Blackhawk tac holster in combat. The Blackhawk models IMHO are superior for a couple of reasons. One is because of the way they rubberize the leg straps, which minimizes movement (called flop in the industry) on your leg, and because if you happen to fall on your weapon, the soft-sided holster does not cause the damage (to the relatively soft human body) that a hard-sided holster does.
Also, if you are needing the holster for tactical reasons, the Blackhawk models are MUCH quieter than the Safariland models if you happen to brush up on a wall, or if any of your other equipment hits it (rifle, sling, etc...). Hope this does you some good btw, I threw away my Safariland holster.
