I am currently active duty Navy and I have found this site to be a great source of information. I'm sure what I learn hear will help in picking my first pistol.

Welcome aboard, Coaster. Glad to have another fellow squid on deck.

Take some time to look around and get to know us. We've got a lot to offer, both to newbies and seasoned vets of the 1911. And be sure to let us know what type of 1911 you do decide upon.
