Please note that the forums in this category are to be used to ask questions or to show us pistols from these manufacturers. They can also be used to ask questions about the parts of a particular pistol from one of these manufacturers, as long as the question relates to the original parts.
If you want to ask questions about after-market parts, these questions should go in the "Parts Bin" forums, not in these forums. Messages with questions for after-market parts, magazines, holsters, conversion kits, ammo etc. will be moved to the proper forum and a warning will be issued. |

Colt Combat Special
Davidsons Gallery of Guns lists the MSRP of $1640.00. There is one on gunbroker.com listed for $1275.00. It's a beautiful colt. If I skip a couple of mortgage payments, I might be able to afford one...

two tone
I love the wy the bluing contrasts the saitin finish. The pistol is also factory tuned according to the details. It also comes with the targets shot during it's test fire. This leads me to believe it is a custom shop item.
I like you have a champagne taste and a beer pocket book. It's not financially feasable right now. |

Special Combat Pistol
I like the aesthetics of the two-tone as well.
My local dealer is trying to tantalize me with the newer production series 70 1911 he's got in the display case. He claims that they are on distributor allocation and command the price of $795.00/ per gun. Since I am on a diet coke budget (forget the beer and champagne), it is still out of my budget. |
