Holster

I am looking at holsters, problem is I'm pretty much going to have to order something as there is just nothing available nearby. I've noticed that most models listed in catalogs do not mention one that fits a BHP. I was told by a friend to use a 1911 holster. Is this a good fit? Is there a better fit out there? I want something sturdy, preferably something fairly heavy duty made from real leather. Give me your favorites and I'll take a look.

thanks!

I use Milt Sparks leather for my guns, great holsters and good craftsmanship. The main drawback is the month long wait until he is done making it. I have 3 and love them all.

Galco Avenger

Hi there,

I use the Galco Avenger. It works well with the BHP.

Hi Kubie,

I use a Safariland M2, originally made for the 1911. It fits perfectly.

All my 1911 holsters work OK with the Browning HI-Power. The cheapest holster I have iis the Uncle Mikes Nylon holster that I got off of Ebay for .o1 cents US plus $8.00 shipping!

Take Care

I've got an Uncle Mike's Sidekick too, but I really prefer my Don Hume open top IWB holster. It's HP specific molded leather and at about $27, reasonably priced.

They are nice but they should be for the price. I am thinking about one but haven't decided yet.
