Looks like 1911 Tuner was right again

Tuner you said the problem with my Llama sub-compact was more than likely a mag spring problem.Well Wolff doesn t carry springs for my type of pistol. Being bored this AM I decided to try something. I have 2 mags neither work so I took spring from Pro Mag and double spring my Llama mag. Now my 10 round only holdes 6 BUT pistol for first time fired 60 rounds of 230 ball and not one problem. Will try to find another type of spring Wolff was not helpful at all Infact he let me know nicely that he has no use for Llama ,Bersa or and other low priced pistol. If nothing else Ill leave mag like is 6+1, that work is better than 10+1 that don t. Was bought as play gun and car gun any way.

Springs

Hmmmm...I don't think I've ever seen the mag spring in that pistol. You might be able to have somebody make one with a slightly larger wire diameter
for some added tension. All they need is the inside dimensions for the mag and the shape of the spring...rounded turns or squared...and the distance between coils on the stock spring. Might be able to come up with one that
would bring the capacity back up to 9 or 10...You might try a tool and die
or a specialty spring shop...

On the stock spring, try putting a downward kink on the very bottom coil...
and a slight upward king in the top coil, just under the follower. Sometimes that works...sometimes not. Nothin' to lose by tryin' it, I guess.

Another thing that might work is to cobble a half-inch spacer that will fit into the bottom of the mag Put the spring in on top of it. That may be all the
extra tension it needs. One round short is better than 4.

Luck!

Tuner
