Cross-checkered parts

Hey folks,

I would like to get the following parts, but I want them cross-checkered, not just line-engraved:

- stainless steel slide stops
- stainless steel magazine release buttons

Anyone has any idea who makes these things?

Tnx and rgds

Ed Brown mag release buttons (regular, extended, and oversized) are all cross-checkered.

Ed Brown's "Hardcore" slide stops are cross-checkered. Their standard model is not.

Also, EGW slide stops are cross-checkered.

Wilson and McCormick are NOT cross-checkered.

Hope this helps.

New title

Yes, Bill, it does help, I think it is time for me to revisit Ed's site.

Thanks for taking the time to write.

You need a Brownells' catalog. I think the get about $5.00 but it is well worth the money. They carry the best line of 1911 accessories I have ever found.

I have one already, it's a few years old, but still VERY USEFUL, if you have the patience to browse through it.

And they were really kind to me, they send it to me for free!!!!

Now for a real lesson in being patient.

What's worst, the book or the site

Yes, their site is worst than their catalog. Now you understand why I asked here, instead of going looking? I am a lazy bum. ;-)
