    Carry options for C1 1911

    Hello all,
I have many handguns but my favorite of late is the Colt New Agent.I carry Condition 1, and alternate between a Leather belt holster that has a snap strap going below the cocked hammer, and a soft leather shoulder rig with no strap. I feel it is safe carry in either rig. Any opinions?

My holsters are the opposite, the snap is on my shoulder holster and my IWB holsters have no snaps. I do have revolver holsters with a snap.
You're perfectly safe carrying a cocked and locked 1911. Gun safety (all safety) starts between the ears.

I do 99% of my carry in OWB holsters with no straps.

    Take care,

    Rick
