Cool colt model-01980xse goverment model,5" barrel,45 acp, blue finish slide stop

I just replaced the slide stop with one from colt and thought that the one I had replaced had a dimple in the end of it where the slide stop plunger set into. Can anyone confirm this please?

I have not seen a Colt slide stop with a dimple.

Although none of my Colts have one my old AMT Hardballer does have an "outie" if that is what we are talking about on its extended slide stop. I bought it new in 1984 by the way. I have seen what you talk about in aftermarket slide stops, but not in anything I can say came from Colt. Not they don't exist, I just haven't seen one I can say came from Colt.
