Dan Wesson 357 CTG Model 15

I have a Dan Wesson 357 - what is odd is that there is no serial number on this gun

    It has the following inscribed:

    DAN WESSON ARMS
    MONSON, MA.
    MODEL 15
    MADE IN USA

    It also says:

    DAN WESSON ARMS
    357 MAGNUM CTG

I have read that Dan Wesson firearms always have serial # and do not have the model # listed

It has 4" barrell, wooden grip with no insignia and is in great shape. I inherited from my father and know that this gun is easily more than 20 years old.

Can anyone tell me more about what I have here, and what it may be worth. Thanks.
