    range report

was driving around Saturday and found a new indoor range. I decided to take Little Bit out for some shooting. He's still having trouble with the CheckMate magazines from the group buy. Usually on the 2nd, 4th, and occasionally the 6th round the slide won't rtb. toward the end of the session I discovered that the "tapping the magazine to seat the shells" helped on one of the magazines. Other than keep shooting to break them in anyone have any ideas? The original mag worked flawlessly.
    thanks,
Joseph a.k.a. The Grumpy Old Man.
