Taurus 9mm 1911B-9 Anyone seen this?

I am very interested in a 9mm 1911. Has anyone seen this yet or know anything about it, such as expected date to shops and MSRP?

I'm looking forward to this pistol too, but unfortunately nobody seems to know when they'll be available.

The only way id accept a 9mm 1911 is if it were a sub-compact.
Is this supposed to be one? if so i may want it for ccw.

GGrrrrr i want the HC,the single stack feels almost to small in my hands.
I guess if i could ask them to make me a gun it would be a 3.5" barrel hi-cap done in gun kote black semi gloss in .45 of course.

Besides 9mm being cheaper to shoot and usually higher capacity who do you want one?

Mainly just for the novelty of it. I already have two 1911's in .45 Auto, so a 9mm might be fun.

Seems like we keep addressing this. Look, I'm as pro Taurus as anyone, I currently own three of their pistols, and have never had a problem with any of them. Here is the bottom line. THEY ADVERTISE THINGS WAY TOO FAR IN ADVANCE. Always have, apparently always will. Who knows when it will surface? No one, not even Taurus. Sad but true.

Yep, I think we established that in post #2...

If you really want a 9mm I shot a IDPA match yesterday, with my Taurus I might add, and it ran flawlessly like I expected. Another fella was shooting a Springfield 9mm in stainless. Same capacity as the expected Taurus, but available if ya just have to have the itch scratched. Now if our friends at Taurus come up with a commander sized 9mm, well this .45.shooter would have to give one a good home.
