Valiant is run by Reese and Renae Teague out of Ranburne Alabama. I've bought from them for many years and they're very fine people. They don't have a web site but you can reach them at 256-748-3333. Tell them Herb from Knoxville recommended them. Please let me know how you do.
Thanks, Fred

Can you tell me are the Valiant bullets SWC cast , lubbed, platted, , or are the just SWC regular lead bullets? Thanks, Fred
I know for sure that they produce a 230gr RNBB in .45 cal and a 200gr SWCBB in .45 cal. They have many others but those are the 2 that I have purchased. They're cast hard lead, sized and lubed.
Norm said he had been shooting 160 gr 185 gr and 200 gr using this bullet, I have rung their phone but I thing they are out for the week.
I there any difference in the bullet then the others that I could get locally to use for BE ?
They may be out for the week or they may be not taking orders right now because of the price of lead. Other than price there is little difference between cast lead bullet manufacturers. You can buy locally or on the internet but check the price especially shipping and taxes - there can be big differences. Just make sure you follow the published reloading data. If you want to use a 200 gr lead bullet use the recommended powder charge and overall cartridge length. For example don't substitute a jacketed bullet if the published load was developed for a lead bullet. Good luck.

Thanks, David Salyer gave me the load that goes with the pistol I bought, and he was using Valient bulletts. I do not know what they look like But I take it that they have a greas lube ring. I am looking for 160 gr and 185 gr bulletts. Fred
I bought 5000 lead cast bullets from the Valiant folks two years ago. 158 gr. LSWC for .38/.357 and their 200 and 240 gr. LSWC. I travel between Mississippi and Georgia and was able to pick the bullets up thereby saving the shipping. The prices were great then compared to what I'm seeing on different websites. I still have a lot of their bullets and have been very pleased at the accuracy for medium velocity loads. I haven't called them in the past year so I don't know what their status is in producing lead bullets now. They were very nice to deal with when I did my purchase as they just asked for two weeks notice and then met them in Ranburne.
