Nice pistols fellas these have always intrigued me but I found a great deal on a S&W model 41 and just have not been able to justify the purchase of another high dollar .22 to date.

That's a familiar feeling. Since getting a S&W M41 none of my other .22 semi-autos get warmed up _except_ the 1911 conversions. Those I use for various drills in preparation for pistol matches. There, use of the 1911 controls is the main objective.

    New Ciener Conversion

Just fired the new Ciener .22 conversion yesterday. Installed on my SA Mil Spec, no problems. Good fit & finish too. The metal mag is a work of art !. Shot the Remington HV Plated RN as specified, only problems were 2 FTF/FTE. Tried re-firing each, must have been "DUDS". Had to use my handy "Leatherman" tool & CAREFULLY lift the shell from the chamber & dump it out !. The attached pictures after cleaning both. For info, the "buffer" appears to be just a !/4" FAUCET WASHER. I had spent a few years in the hardware/building materials business & have sold a few of these in my time !. ( has "1/4" imprint ). now we don't have to order from the Mfgr.

Other info..I gave up on the Advantage Arms Kit, still not in inventory @ Midway, & got the Ciener with a birthday discount for $179.00 !. Neat Huh ?. "G"

Here is my 70 Series Gold Cup with a 70 Series 9mm slide mounted and a Colt .22lr Conversion Unit. Bought the GC new in 1978 along with the conversion unit. I guess the 9mm set up was a takeoff from someone that wanted a .45. I found it at a gun show.
