    1911 with full length rail?

    Are there any others out there besides the TRP operator? I want one for my collection!!!

    Some of the Kimbers have light rails on them. Several of the custom guns like the Nighthawk's also offer them.

    I am talking about something with a FULL length rail.....goes all the way to the front of the slide like the springer operator.

    I think SA is the only production pistol with a full length rail / dust cover - TRP operator pre 2007 and Operator loaded pre 2006 -Operator mil spec pre 2006

    Also check les baer monolith models. Full dust cover.

    Ah sorry for the confusion in terms USMCSki. When I think full length rail I think of a rail that runs from the front of the triggerguard to the end of the dustcover, even if the dustover is standard length. There is actually a short rail that I have seen that runs only about half the length of a standard dustcover.

    I think Longslide is right, the Springer and the Les Baer are the only ones I know of that feature the long dustcover, and full length rail. You might also try STI or the SV Infinity but again these are higher end custom guns.
