    My local gun shop checked availability with the six largest distributors and there was no availability.

    Some pistols are on Gunbroker but they are high starting bids and if the start bid is $379.95 (street price a dealer offered but they had no availability) you still have to add shipping and transfer fees to that.

    On a whim I checked Arms list and 100 miles from me a brand new unfired Baby Rock was offered at $400. so I made the trip and bought it. Seller had bought it for his daughter but she had become attached to the Browning .380 he gave her to use while waiting for the RI. He put it up for sale for exactly what he paid for it $379.95 plus NC sales tax.

    have a look and you might get lucky and find one.
