    Recommend a gunsmith

Any recommendations for a great gunsmith to change some parts and springs on the Hi Power?

Don Williams of Action Works, an artistic BHP mechanic who's also a real gentleman...can't recommend Don enough .....

Don't take it to your local gun mechanic unless he is known for quality work, quickly done and reasonably priced. I know of no such person in my area and would heed Submoa's advice.

I can highly recommend Don Williams. You would be far better off spending some money with Don and getting the pistol you need and want rather than spending a TON of money ($3195) with Nighthawk (in your companion thread) and getting a pistol you might want (if you can afford it) but don't necessarily need. IMO, there is a lot of fluff on the NH's.
