    10 Round Pro Mag Review

So earlier this week while browsing some of my local gun shots I picked up a ProMag 10 round magizine. So for $17 USD I figured what the heck I'll try it. The guy at the store says at best it is a range mag. He wasn't kidding. I had a few FTFs and once instance of the slide not locking back on empty on three attempts to use it. If you're looking for a mag to use for malfunction training this seems to be a good Mag for that. I used my ACT and Wilson Combat mag during the same session and didn't have any issues, so (as you guys most likely know already) it definitely was the ProMag.

Thanks for the info. Nice to know what doesn't work too.

I bought some Chip McCormick 10 rounders last year and was very disappointed ... until I had used them 6 or 7 times each. A little frustrating to run thru break in, but after the effort they are running 100%.

I would at least try the same thing with the ProMag 10's before I trashed them.

On the other hand, with my 9mm ... no amount of break in helped the MecGars I bought.
