The City of Chicago has lost another anti-gun case.

In the case of Ezell v. City of Chicago, the issue was the city's extremely restrictive zoning ordinance regarding where a shooting range open to the public could be located. Despite the fact that there are eleven existing shooting ranges within the city serving police and/or private security firms, none of which would satisfy the regulations and which were exempted, the city tried to argue that restricting shooting ranges to manufacturing districts was somehow necessary to protect public safety.
The court disagreed.
Stay tuned for what tricks Chicago will try next.
