    Double stack 1911

I have noticed that SA has double stack mags on their site but seem to not have guns listed for these mags.
I would like to look at stainless double stack SA guns like P4s. What should I type into the search bar?

They used to offer them. There are some around, so I guess they offer the magazines. IIRC Para magazines will work in these guns.

They weren't the prettiest guns out there (I guess no doublestack is). For a quick look, you can browse at IMBEL's website:

Thank you sir. I always wanted a Para P14 in stainless. But I really like standardization. So before buying, I really want to look at the SA guns.
Do you folks know what model is should be looking for?
Also, what are your thoughts on the P14?

I don't know anything about the Springfield Armory double stack 1911, other than that I vaguely recall they offered one when their pistols were manufactured by Imbel in Brazil. I can tell you that I used to shoot a Para-Ordnance P14.45 in competition and it was flawless over two seasons of competition. (I wish I could say the same about my shooting. At my age, against a bunch of youngsters, I had to acknowledge that my role there was to move everyone else up a notch in the standings.)

I don't have a P14.45, though I fired one and it's a real pussycat... but not as sweet a shooter as my P18.9:

In my defence, I doubt that admission of ownership of a 9mm of any sort is likely to cause the necessary envy among members of this forum that would make gloating possible...

I have a p-14 and a 18.9. Have been shooting them both for many years. Never a problem(that was not of my making) with either gun.

I picked up a double stack blued at a local gunshop for cheap. Under 500 very lightly used. It was my first 1911 and it fit my large hands very well. Trouble with one mag is all the issues I have had with it. I imagine due to ammo costs and the jamamatic mag, it was not shot much.
