    Armscor revolver ?

I have a silly question but I'll ask any way. I recently acquired a armscor m206 38. Never been shot. My only problem is it's hammerless dao. Can it be converted to Sa and da and a hammer dropped in. I know it's a silly question but honestly don't know. Can't find any answers searching. Thanks!!!

Yes, it can be done. In fact, I have converted one with a bobbed hammer to a spurred hammer.

Technically, I don't think it's actually a DAO. I think if you pull the trigger far enough to start lifting the hammer and then cock it manually, you'll find that it can be fired in single action mode. At least, that's my recollection. I am certain that the new hammer I installed was a SA/DA hammer.

Don't know why I said hammerless. I meant spurless.

If I remember correctly, I found the replacement hammer at Numrich.

I tested it when I got home and pulled the hammer and cocked the spurless hammer hammer back and it didn't stay back. I guess this 206 is dao. But I am sure I can still convert it over with a new hammer. Gives me another firearm to work on.
