    2011 Kimber ULTRA CDP CRACKED FRAME 3000 rounds

    2011 Ultra CDP found cracked frame. Only about 3000 rounds in it. Recoil spring changed @1600. Kimber said recoil spring was backwards and would not cover under warranty. I don't think it was installed wrong, does it matter? Anyway they started at wanting $450 or so to replace frame, settled at $250 for new frame and serial#. Still think there may be issue with product.
