Sig GSR 1911 - Looking for information on their changes

Doing some research on the Sig GSR 1911.

The 2004 Original GSR's had Caspian frames and slides, match grade barrels, night sights, no MIM parts, etc.

What production year did parts start to change (and specifically what parts changed)? Trying to figure out when the configuration of parts started to change.

Anyone know the differences in model numbers 19GSR00XX? Is there a link on the Sig site that I was not able to find?

    Thanks!

I don't mean to sound petty or condescending, but the "Search" function judiciously applied will help you here.

Briefly, as I recall SIG terminated their relationship with Caspian and Storm Lake for GSR slides, frames and barrels around 2006.

Caspian later apparently sold these basic components as a builders kit for some time.

Around 2007/2008, SIG apparently began to outsource other components (or switch their outsourcing vendors); MIM components began to be gradually introduced.

Searching this, and other websites can provide you with much detail.

You'll quickly cotton on as to the more credible and genuinely knowledgeable participants/contributors are.

    Best, Jon
