    Landing page

Members, here is a question for you.

When you come to our Forums Site, you end up in our "Activity" (or "What's New?") page. In the past (and before upgrading our software to the latest version), you ended up in the "Forums" page. In order to see the differences between the two, find the two links above, in the light blue bar near the top, right-click on them and from the menu that will pop-up, ask to open the link in a new window.

The question is, which page do you like to land in? In other words, which page do you like to end up with, when coming to our site?

Let us know folks, your opinion matters to us.

    Hi John,

I like the Activity page as it is now. That said, I can see how first-time visitors could find the "Forums" page to be more meaningful. If you changed to that as the default page, I could always set a bookmark to the "Activities" page.

It doesn't work for me at all. I vote for the Forums page, the way it was before. Starting at the "What's New" or Activities page is how new visitors to the site never find the site index and learn what discussion groups are available to members (and visitors). I have never once clicked a link from the Activities page -- the first thing I do is navigate away from it, either to "New Posts" or to "Forums."

Folks, I am afraid that we need to make that change, for technical reasons. There will be a "What's New" button (just like it is now), so there is no need to bookmark the Activity page, unless you really do not want to see the Forums page at all.
