Cabot Guns enters the custom 1911 market with the introduction of the S-Class

    Cabot, Pennsylvania

    – January 5, 2015

Cabot Guns, makers of unsurpassed collector grade 1911s has introduced a custom grade gun. The Cabot S-Class uses advanced aerospace technology and the finest materials to create the most precise custom 1911 in the world.

Beyond the high precision construction, the S-Class is also distinctive and beautiful. The S-Class features include an elegant “blind” front sight matches to beautiful, glare reducing machining on the top strap. Unique and effective cocking serrations feature the Cabot Trinity Stripes. The patriotism of the men and women of Cabot is displayed in the signature stars on the TriStar trigger and guide rod.

The S-Class also debuts a front strap and main spring housing embellished with dramatic Rhombus Cut 24 lpi checkering. The unique diagonal cut of the checking delivers improved grip with comfortable feel in your hand.

Great care was taken to create the proprietary grips, which feature Fibonacci scallops. This formula that occurs in nature in everything from nautilus shells to DNA strands was chosen not only for its beauty, but also for function. The shooter’s grip is increased as the gun goes farther into recoil. A true blend of form and function.

Cabot Founder and President Rob Bianchin says, “It was our goal to produce the finest 1911 in the custom-class of firearms and I don't think that there is any question that we achieved our goal.”

The initial offering will feature two guns that will be manufactured in pure 416 stainless steel with optional black nitride finish. One will be a government length gun. The other a commander length. The latter is unique in the production of 1911s, as the only difference is the slide and barrel length. In the words of Rob Bianchin, “By preserving John Browning’s design with regards to the length of cycle, the gun’s reliability is maintained.”

This new line will be available to order on January 5, 2015 and will debut at the S.H.O.T. Show in Las Vegas January 20th.
