    Hartford Colt addition

Recently picked this up..pretty decent shape, RA markings are all where they should be..barrel is in pretty decent shape, expected wear, no pitting anywhere. SN on bbl and slide, 6859, frame 6863..who knows how that happened..probably the usual clean and put back together and who cares what went with what after it got to Argentina.

Or the swap happened at the importer. Argentina seemed very determined to keep everything numbered and matching including replacement barrels and magazines. Nice pistol.

I have the barrel for 7328. The Pistol with all matching numbers, was sold via online auction from Colorado. I believe it was on Guns America as well. The barrel showed up on eBay. It was in pretty decent shape. The barrel was sold at another auction in the Quad Cities before ebay. Rock Island, Ill. Then appeared on eBay. Amazing how far one barrel has traveled. I have no idea why someone would discard the original barrel.

Who knows..maybe barrel was in some other gun, original owner upgraded then sent the barrel on its journey. And I've met/talked to folks who may be less than purists when comes to all things matching...don't care as long as it goes "bang"...
