    Icon17 My first Nighthawk

This T3 is sweet and I love shooting it. It is my favorite gun now and I now need about $500/week extra for ammo! HAHA No malfunctions to speak of and I have shot about 250 rounds so far with more to shoot tomorrow!

Oh, also I already ordered my special mag deal 2 of the black like the pic and 3 of the stainless ones. I will say that my only small disappointment so far was the bag that the Nighthawk came in. My friend has a Wilson combat and the bag that his came in was nicer than mine. This is a small complaint I realize, but hey just telling it like I see it. Other than that small issue, I simply could not be happier.

    Nice, nice, nice.

I don't know why the odd corners in the T3's magwell rub me the wrong way, but it's only a minor thing in a great-looking pistol. Congratulations.

    Thanks!
I also bought 3 other 1911's last week. I bought a used coat defender a used Kimber raptor PRO II this nighthawk and a Dan Wesson ECO. I sold the Kimber last night and have the colt up for sale also and I had to send the Dan Wesson off to get it worked on it was so tight it simply would not return the battery. I'm having fun. But this hawk has keep me sane because it simply just works. I'm going to the range again in the next hour or so I'm going to put another hundred rounds through this I'm getting much better with accuracy and like the challenge of about 15 yard shots right now.

When you're talking about odd corners what exactly do you mean?

I'm basically referring to the corners in the rear of the sides of the magazine funnel, as seen on the gun on the right, here:

Functionally it is a non-issue, just a matter of preference.

    Beautiful pistol indeed!!!
    I have a confession:
To include the dozen and a half 1911's I've owned.....my brother's Lady Hawk is by far the nicest and most accurate 1911 I've shot!
25 yards and off-hand, I rolled a soda can 10 for 10....must be those Heinie sights.
Beauty is skin deep but ugly goes right to the bone.
