Picked up a new 1911 Tac Ops today!

I bought one 3 months ago as my first 1911 and liked it but ended up selling to a good Buddy of mine . I turned that money into a new C-3 as I wanted to carry and felt the 30 oz commander size would suit me better! I came across a deal I could not pass up on another forum and ended up adding the New Tacops to the herd ! This 1911 thing is addicting !

Nice! The only thing missing is a range report.

Ok here is the range report ! Sig knows how to make a great 1911!!!! The trigger is a crisp 5 lbs, slide is smooth and the balance is right on ! Very happy with the gun shooting without a hicup 200 rounds 230 gr FMJ. I was shooting 2 " groups at 3-4 yards. I felt so confident I accepted a shooting challenge with my Buddy who bought my first Tac Ops off me . I was doing fine till he suggested " Let's see how you shoot left handed?". He caught up on that run ! Ha Ha !!

I too have a Tac-Ops full size. I hung a surefire light on the rail. With the additional weight the gun recoils less and shoots one hole groups. Never a problem in 300 rounds.
