    EB Special Forces Commander

    Who could resist!

Grips changed to Crimson Trace. I haven't fired it yet, but I did find enough ammo too!

That's a real beauty! I bought the Special Forces II 3 or 4 months ago, and could not be happier with it. A handsome, quality piece for sure. It's my 3rd Brown, and my favorite.

Actually I DID resist! Local dealer had the new lightweight model and I had to pry it out of my hand. I fortunately remembered the abuse a lightweight 4.25" M1911 subjects me to when shooting! I'll stick with my steel framed models.

BTW I found a bobtailed full size Special Forces "stealth" model. Shooting is a dream compared to the alloy models.

I just noticed your pistol has a short trigger and flat slide top. Special order? A few years ago I sent my Kobra Carry back to Brown to have a short trigger fitted.

I remain disappointed Brown has still not relieved the front lower corner of the ejection port where 230gr FMJ tends to hang up unloading or clearing the pistol. Easy to fix on my all stainless KC.

I found this one at Gunslingers, didn't have to order and wait. I agree the full size SF's are a dream to shoot. Not a fan of the carry "lites" either, this one is all stainless.

    It'll be great then!

My old Kobra Carry is stainless steel and I'm constantly temped to send her in for Gen3 coating. But if it ain't broke... !
