VZ makes some of the best grips in the market. Can't go wrong with them. What are the Scorpion grips made of?

there made out of g10, however, i wasnt the least bit impressed with the grippiness the hogues provided and since they look similair to the vz operators and recons i was curious how much grippier the vz's were in comparison

Check the VZ line out, they have a lot of different grips.

I have felt the VZ ones on the RIA 1911 at the shop. they are nice grips. very sharp. I prefer my scorpion G10 grips. I like the serrations and I'm a lefty so I have no need for that finger groove either. just my .02

I'm running VZ Operators II on 2 of mine and when you run your hand over them they feel raspy. When you acquire the correct grip in the holster and start shooting, your hand doesn't move and they are comfortable.

    I love them.

If you wait until Friday (Black Friday) order your grips and use coupon code 25OFF for a 25% discount.

I just put some VZ Operators II on my Colt to replace the checkered plastic wraparound it came with years ago - other than needing to get used to the new feel, they are definitely an improvement. Like BHP9 said, your hand just doesn't move once you get your grip, and they are more comfortable than I expected when shooting for as sharp & grippy as they are. When I first got them, I was actually a little concerned that I wouldn't like them because of the sharp texture, but once on the range I quickly changed my mind, and definitely don't want to go back.
