    Organization of site

This site categorizes every Colt or non Colt 1911 design taking us all into the places we want to go from the start.

It helps me to focus on the positive experiences I have had with my 1911s and not to be in a place to get into an argument with others believing in their own experiences. I can concentrate on what I like in the forums that like what I like without arguments or debate.

PS Joni Lynn is a moderator I admire. She allows me to digress on occasion with her own experiences.

Thank you very much for your feedback. However, I would like to add something to it: we sometimes see that some members who concentrate on a specific brand of 1911, will always post in that section, come what may, be it for troubleshooting, aftermarket parts, holsters, etc. This is not the way the forum works, much to the annoyance of some brand-loyal fans who tend to stay in one place.

Especially when it comes to troubleshooting, we often point out to folks here that not only is a single troubleshooting section more practical (it's hard to find a brand-specific malfunction), but going beyond any organizational aspect, posting in the right section means that the lady or gent with a problem pistol will get the best feedback possible, from those who like to frequent this particular forum section--and who are quite a bit more knowledgeable on the subject than fans of any one 1911 brand!

    Be safe
Too many people miss the silver lining because they're expecting gold.
