    A Welcomed Library Of Info

I read thru some of the threads as has been posted on this subject of what is thought about this Forum.......I am a new kid on the block, but I have gleaned many, many threads and l have learned a great deal and was entertained @ the same time. Of course you will have those who gender negative feelings @ times, but the mods here seem to go to great lengths to try to fix before it gets too crazy, as I have seen on other Forums. I like and recommend this Forum too anyone how has a love for the 1911 and hey, for about any firearm. So my vote: thumbs up and keep up the great work.

An in depth library on the 1911 is located here, Home Page!

BTW: I find woman much easier to instruct in the proper use of a handgun than men. Woman don't have the bad habits that men acquired by playing with toy guns.

You can say that again... and this explains perfectly why despite having no handgunning experience, my wife took only about 4 magazines' worth of firing to out-shoot me at the range: no toy guns in her childhood, but her dad's a hunter and she begun shooting a youth-model air-rifle as soon as she could shoulder it... I had one of those too, but clearly she paid more attention!
Too many people miss the silver lining because they're expecting gold.
