    RIA 1911 in open class

Not sure if this is right area but here goes.

i just bought a saiga 12 gauge shotgun that puts me in open class for running 3 gun. so i had a thought that as long as im in open class i mine as well get a pistol to go with it. 10 round mags crazy long match barrel with ports good guts inside, red dot, the whole 9 yards.

just asking what kind of red dot mounts/sights are good on 1911. what 10 rd mags are reliable and what guts/barrel to throw in it to make it a tack driver.

starting with a base of the GI model nice and cheap platform.

Any and all options are welcome thank you!
