Well, I know its not a 1911, but it is in good company with my other Performance Center semi-auto, a Doug Konig 38 Super 1911, so here's a pic of my new 952 Long Slide. (I've been wanting one of these for about 2 years...)

....Both of these pistols are extremely well made, and while they are different models, they do share some similarities (both have all steel construction, wood grips, similar take-down process, funky barrel bushing design, single stack mags, nice SA triggers, external hammers, etc). Anyhow, I think these 2 Performance Center pistols compliment each other nicely. :D
