Well, for my 1st post.....
I just picked up a used 7.45, and being the left handed fool I am, I would like to add an ambi safety.
Will any of the "standard" brands work, or is there a "para only" safety I'll need?
Thanks,
Boo

Boo:
The Para 7.45 series guns are nominally clones of the Colt Series 80, other than the Power Extractor and Para logos....
As always, fitting an ambi safety is going to require some tuning, and possibly some relief of the top of the right grip, however you should be able to pick something you like without problems.
(Disclaimer - Para used to make all kinds of "kit" guns - slides, frames, unfinished complete guns, etc., and some of those may be different. If yours is reasonably recent, that shouldn't be a problem.)
Welcome Aboard.
Regards,
Is this a single action Para or an LDA?

Any ambi safety will work. The owner of the range where I shoot uses a P14.45 and a P18.9 in competition. He has both of them set up with the Mueshcke (sp?) type ambis safties because he doesn't like the type with a tab under the grip panel.
