Hello I am New Old 1911 Addict from NC

I have been a 1911 addict since I carried one in the PA National Guard in the early 80s. I owned a Colt Combat Commander then, but had to sell it for college books , Ok maybe some beer too. Boy do I regret selling her.
Maybe I could have made do with a few less B???s

Its been a long time but I just picked up a Rock Island GI FS. Now I have to get to the range.

I was glad to find this group. This definitely a one stop shop for all things 1911.

I look forward to learning a lot and hopefully contributing my limited knowledge as well.
