Wonder what the costs would be ordering 1911 parts from South Africa?
The Griffon has a real spring steel extractor,a forged grip safety,a forged thumb safety and forged slide stop.
They also have Norinco parts as well,in fact, Tuner said the extractor in my Griffon looked just like a Norinco.
If it didn't cost too much,it would be a good way to get real steel parts for our 1911's

I'm thinking that the shipping alone would obviate any savings over something from Brown, Wilson or Cylinder & Slide. Order it from Brownells and if it doesn't pass muster you can send it back. That gets prohibitive when sending stuff over the ocean.

Shipping would not be that high, but even if it is,it would be worth it to get real steel forged parts.
Where in the USA can you get forged slide stops, thumb safety and even a grip safety with beavertail and memory pad that is forged?

You could even get real steel parts for the inside and real spring steel extractors.
With a group buy,shipping wouldn't be a costly thing.
