I am new here, and just would like some advise.
I recently purchased a used Springfield National Match 45. The frame is stainless steel, but the slide is blued. I would like to find a stainless steel slide for it, but I can't seem to find anywhere to get one. could someone please give me some info and insight on how to proceed? I watch ebay, Auction Arms, Gunbroker, etc..., but no one seems to have a stainless steel slide. I would appreciate any input.

Thanks!
~Rich

You can get any number of slide combo's from Wilson combat or Caspian, Your best bet to give you a good idea is to call Brownells and request a catalog. Brownells even has longslides.

If you want a Springfield slide you can ask Springfield if they would sell you one or perhaps their custom shop will fit one to your pistol. Otherwise, Caspian is a great choice. Their slides are milled from barstock and the rails are slightly oversize, so you will likely have to do a little fitting to get it to work properly on your frame.
