Well, after months of waiting and hundreds of phone calls, I managed to locate one of these mythical unicorn bred 1911's.

$669 OTD and they still have some left. as of this afternoon.

Now all I gotta do is survive till Monday....

I tried to purchase two from Hoffmans and they would not ship. They stated the guns they had were not available for online purchases but I could buy one if I came to the store........ I had high hopes of finally getting my hands on one(the wait has been long and aggonizing) and I am now considering a alternatives;however,............I really want the SR1911.

ever have to wait for christmas for a present you know you were getting? same thing. I was bouncing off the walls with anticipation till I was able to pick it up.
