Just wanted to say hello.....I'm a big fan of 1911's. I only own one. It is approx. 100 years old so I don't shoot it. I'm looking for a new one and came here for education and guidance. Look forward to getting to know you guys/gals.

Hey Sgt & Doran...one of the fellas I work with said Torchy's is open...more of a bar but has pool tables. It's on first street next to the RR tracks. Oh and there used to be a really good pawn shop right next door. Good for lots of stuff old military stuff...it is still there.

ahhh.....okay. Yes they are both still open. I would hardly call Torchy's a pool hall. More like a meth bar. I've taken countless to jail out of that place. By the way, I work for Sapulpa PD. I'm not from here so you threw me there for a minute when you said pool hall....lol

LOL. Understood! I've been to the pawn shop many times in the past. Only seen Torchy's. Sad it is that way...and in downtown Sapulpa. I really like that town, and enjoy the car show every summer...one of the best in the area.

I also enjoy going to that pawn shop (Rt. 66 Gun and Pawn). Mark is a good guy...Believe it or not I haven't been to the car show. Either I'm working, or I was on graveyard shift and sleeping. I've only worked here for 4 years. I'm an Air Force veteran and settled here.

Welcome to the forum, SgtMojo67. I spent a couple of years in Broken Arrow before the big oil bust in the 80's laid off most of the town. With my compulsion to eat I moved back to Texas. Been through Sapulpa a few times going to OKC. The Tulsa area is right pretty. Thanks for helping to keep the neighborhoods safe.

I remembered it more as a pool hall than bar but that was prob twenty-five yrs ago. Sorry to hear it's gone down hill and also sorry I missed the pawn shop, would have gone in had I known it was there.
