I am new to your forum and I like what I see. I own two 1911s.
One Chiappa 1911-22LR and one Norinco 1911A1 Govt. 45 ACP.
I live in Calgary, AB and love guns. I'm sure I will learn a lot here.

Welcome aboard! My Hubby used to have a Norinco 1911. He sold or traded it away, I forget which but he has often said he wishes he had kept it because it was a very good gun.

Hello SS1911 and welcome to the forum. This is a good place to learn about all things 1911. How is the shooting scene in Calgary? I used to shoot at the Firing Line but that was a long time ago.

You should do very well here. There's a lot of old fogies with shaky eyes. Search around the forum for threads describing vision issues and related old people problems.

You can recognize the Canadians here by the plaid shirts and Tim Hortons coffee cups.
