Merry Christmas from Colorado Springs. I've been a member for awhile but haven't posted yet. I've been pretty active on the S&W forum and the M14 Forum for quite awhile.
My firearm interests are pretty much anything that's good 'ole wood and steel. The firearms I get the most excited about are series 70 and older 1911's; S&W revolvers; and any other WWII or Korean War era military guns.
I only own three 1911's (four if you include the Colt Gov't .380 that's in my safe). Just before Thanksgiving I traded a friend for his 1911 that was manufactured in 1917.
My wife also enjoys shooting. Yesterday was about as good as it gets, in my book. After teaching middle school sunday school at church, my wife and I took our two Australian Shepherds for a hike and then went to the range so she could try out her new carry gun--a S&W Bodyguard .380. After enjoying beautiful weather at the range, we came home and I taught her how to disassemble and clean her gun.
Talk to you later,
