I'm having a shoulder rig made for it with a vertical bikini holster instead of horizontal like the Galco.
Should fit both the Commander and the Officers.
They're saying 6 weeks out.
I'll guess we'll see.

Looks really good Doc. Did you paint those crimson Trace grips or did they come that way?

I'm such a tightwad I kept looking for a deal on CT grips. The Officers grips are more expensive than any others it seems.
Found them used and got a deal, so I guess I'll have to live with the flames. :o

Very nice Doc. I like that holster too. I've never seen that style before.
We'll see how it turns out.
I just don't like the horizontal, "sweep-everyone-behind-you" style.

I agree with you on that. I have a Galco shoulder holster for a Government Model that the pistol hangs vertically. Nice holster but the Government Model is a little long to hang that way (at least on me). Your pistol with the shorter barrel should hang nicely.

This is it...best shooting carry piece I've yet to own, the one I've been looking for all this time.
Put 200 rnds downrange with it this morning, and it's a tack driver and feels totally natural in my hands.
Lightweight alloy frame makes it easy to carry.

Very, very nice doc; I think there is a lot of wishful thinking and planning going on here.

Cool Thanks! What city is he in? That's a great looking pistol, and appears to function even better. I'd love to get his contact info. Glad she's shooting so well for ya!

I got lucky and bought it used but with a Bar-Sto match grade barrel fitted to it.
I didn't think a Commander length gun could shoot this well.

They seem to be pretty good people and on top of their game.
They were willing to make any type of mod I suggested for no extra charge...like double snapping the mag pouches to secure both full size and Officers mags.
Guess we'll see in a month or so.
