Hi,
I am a retired educator in Maryland. Don't feel bad about me being in Maryland they are only mildly repressive to gun owners. Just kidding they are very repressive but we get by and play by the rules of the Old Line State. I am a general collector of interesting firearms. I hold a C & R and buy sell and trade to support my habit.
I own two beautiful 1911 A1s. One is an early Colt in the 76XXXX range, so it is early 1942. It is factory with the exception of the sights. I also have a Remington Rand #202XXXX that is factory correct.
I am always trying to learn more about antique firearms. In general if it isn't old I am not that interested.
I shoot in the NSSA. I love .22 single shots and lever actions. You can shoot all day for $10. My all time favorite hand gun in the 1911. Thank you John Browning.
