Sitting around pondering on retirering my springfield champion as a carry piece, I ordered up a new Wilson Professional straight from the company web site. I noted I wanted a full length guide rod, amby safety, and double diamond grips. Other than that just a box stock professional. When it arrives we will see how it stacks up against the Wilson classic and Baer premier II for performance and fit.

Congrats man! I love my Wilson. I was thinking about picking up the KZ-45. Does anybody have any experience with one?

Have I told you how much I hate you? ;)

I have an Airsoft Wilson Combat Professional, and every time I pick it up to play, I think how much I wouldl love to have a real one! Congrats! Let us know how it shoots and post pics.

Thought I would call Wilson this morning and see if the internet order went through. They set me up witha fellow by the name of Matt and he was super. He took thime to answer all my questions and was very knowledgable. Now all I have to do is wait 3 to 4 weeks for it to show up at local dealers place.

Yeah I ordered a CQB from Matt on the 9th. I called him back later to ask him some questions and he was great. We have Customer Service beat into our heads at work so I know it when I see it. The wait is torturous.

Congrats on the new Wilson. I'm just curious as to why you ordered it with the FLGR? Thanks.

Again, good luck with your new gun.

Mike.

Gotti817,
The professional comes standard with a open spring plug. You can look right in the hole. It makes it look like a over and under with both the barrel opening and the spring opening. The FLGR will fill the hole and make it look some what normal.

The professional finaly arrived and it is just a piece of art. This is the firs one I actually ordered through Wilson. The first two were bought off the shelf. Will get a range report off soon. Here is the pix for now.

I assume because the way the standard Professional is configured (with that gapping hole under the barrel's muzzle) is ... kind of funny!

John,
I had them put in a FLGR to fill the hole. It looks normal with the hole plugged.

My CQB Compact is like that. But I like how the hole is open. I think it looks cool.

The beauty is in the eyes of the ... owner, I agree.

Nice gun harleydog. Here's my stainless Professional I picked up last week. I will be calling Wilson tomorrow to get a FLGR as well. I have a CQB Compact with the same open hole as my new Professional. It will get replaced eventually as well.

My springfield champion V10 I bought back in the late 90's has that same open hole. It has never given me any problems except it looks like a over and under shotgun with a 45 on top and a 32 on the bottom. So the FLGR on the Professional seemed to fit the bill nicely.
